She won the Divas Champion in February's Elimination Chamber, where she defeated AJ Lee. It was the following week when she had to face Lee for a second time and failed to win her title. Ariana later took on Lee at Lee's Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational in which Lee also won. Then, in July of 2014, she with Naomi Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes as well as Summer Rae against Nikki Bella during a match of six-on-one handicap and only appeared for the purpose of slapping Naomi and Nikki. The Battleground show brought her into a battle with Naomi. Ariana managed to beat Naomi during that battle. The result brought about their feud.
